   Description.

Thailand Baptist Theological Seminary School is located in Suanplu Bangkok , renovation of existing open space in ground floor  and build up new building with roof garden.

Our challenge is efficiency open spaces & functions by considering surrounding , context , history ,and keep existing as much as we can.

We separate 2 accessibilities. one is for vehicle, another for pedestrian to avoid the traffic which is quite be crowded in the morning and afternoon.

The open space inside be divided in 2 zones, first is multipurpose green center court for the new building, and second is the parking court for the existing building.

The green center court is integrated to the new building with simple design, we created the stepping lawn for mini amphitheater along corridor and also integrated to wheelchair ramp to be one design.

The green space is flow to the sculpture court which is a meet up area by created feature sculptural seats integrated to the location of exiting trees which all are high branches tree. In the night time this sculpture seats could be feature lighting as well.

The parking courtyard, we re-design the green space by also keep the existing tree and since this space is connected to the book store shop, then we come up by design this area the be outdoor reading space with shading of existing trees. Counter table and seating is design to be one language and easy to be installed.

The roof garden on top of the new building is the area for student to come up to do group activities, has conversations, reading , take view of high branches tree and sun light.
